TRY SCUBA !
Are you ready to see what the fun is all about? Then join us for our regularly scheduled TRY SCUBA events! We normally schedule our TRY SCUBA's on Tuesday or Thursday evenings from 6:30-9PM. This is a great way to learn a bit more about the exciting world of SCUBA DIVING without taking a full class. Learn what the sport of SCUBA is all about from Experienced diving Instructors. Learn what it takes to get involved with the sport, ask questions then go try out diving in a swimming pool. This is a great first step if you're thinking about the Sport of Diving!
HERE'S WHAT IT'S INCLUDED:
ACADEMIC SESSION: Meet with some of our Staff Instructors for an Informative seminar on the world of SCUBA. This session starts at our facility in Bellevue; please arrive by 6:15PM, for a 6:30PM start. We'll show and describe the equipment we use to explore Inner-Space as well as show you what is involved to actually go diving on your own, including class requirements. We'll answer your questions and give you a full overview of what to expect to GO DIVING!!! Bring your questions and concerns and get them answered!
CONFINED WATER (Pool) SESSION: After the Academic Session, we move to the Bellevue Aquatic Center (NE 8th & 143rd, in Bellevue, less than a mile from the store) for the best part SCUBA! Join our staff of experienced Instructors for a chance to go Underwater and BLOW SOME BUBBLES! We'll set you up with a full SCUBA outfit and take you on a pool dive, and give you a taste of what diving is all about. Pool session wraps up by 9PM.
Total Academic and Confined water time is about 3 hours. Participants must be over 10 years old; those under 18 years old must have a Parental Release signed before the water session.
COST:
Tuition for a TRY SCUBA EXPERIENCE is $50 and includes everything you need! Just bring your swimsuit, towel and YOU! If you decide to sign up for an Open Water Scuba class with us, we'll apply the $50 towards your tuition! Class size is limited, so please contact us well in advance to reserve your space!
