At Silent World, we want you to be the best dive buddy you can be. Learn some tools to help you do just that!  This course will help you increase your ability to recognize and prevent dive problems and how to deal with them if they do occur. One of our more popular programs, most everyone who takes this course says it was the best course they have taken since their Open Water Certification! required for those aiming to earn their Master Diver rating and other higher certification ratings.

During the course we will discuss and practice:

• First Aid/CPR
• Stress Recognition Skills in yourself and your dive buddy
• Recognizing and handling stress and panic in diving
• Diver Emergency Ascents
• Search Patterns and Recovery Techniques
• Rescues, Tows and Assists
• Optional DAN Oxygen Administration Course follow each Stress/Rescue series

Prerequisites

 Diver must be 15 years old

 Open Water certification from an internationally recognized agency

 Diver should be in good physical condition, as they will be some towing of other divers distances of 25-50 yards

Recommended Prerequisites

 Recent Dive experience (4 coldwater dives in past 6 months)

 A physical exam oriented towards diving
