Annual Inspections for Gear
To keep your gear working in top condition, and to ensure it stays covered under your manufacturer's warranty, it needs to be inspected annually (or more often if you manage more than 50 dives in a given year). It's also a good idea to have your gear inspected (especially your regulator) if you happen to dredge it in fine tropical sand by accident.
Generally speaking, you must have your BC, regulator, cylinders, and drysuit valves inspected annually, but check your manufacturer's warranty for specifics.
