With the world's largest artificial reef system at hand, you'll have the opportunity to dive the Cape Breton, the HMCS Saskatchewan, and the newest wreck: the Rivtow Lion. And all are within a short 15 minute boat ride from Nanaimo!
If conditions permit, we'll visit Dodd Narrows, famous for its bountiful and diverse marine life, Four Fathoms Reef, or Gabriola Pass among other great dive sites.
This artifical reef system makes for some great and diverse diving: depths range from 50 to 120 feet and you'll dive walls as well as wrecks. Looking for diverse marine life? You might see wolf eels, octopus, giant cloud and boot sponges, just to name a few of the creatures lurking in the ocean near Nanaimo.
